Hoover Volkswagen is seeking an experienced and driven Automotive Sales Manager to join our leadership team. This individual will play a critical role in driving sales performance, developing our sales consultants, and helping lead the dealership to the next level.
The ideal candidate is a strong closer, team leader, and process-driven manager who can desk deals, train sales staff, and help maximize both volume and gross profit while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities
- Manage and support the daily activities of the sales team
- Desk deals and structure transactions with lenders
- Assist sales consultants in closing deals and overcoming objections
- Monitor CRM activity and ensure proper lead follow-up
- Train and develop sales consultants on the Road to the Sale and objection handling
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and dealership reputation
- Work closely with Finance Managers to maximize deal profitability
- Track sales metrics including appointments, closing ratios, and gross profit
- Maintain compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards
Qualifications
- Previous automotive sales management experience required
- Strong desking and deal structuring experience
- Proven ability to lead and develop a sales team
- Experience with CRM systems and internet lead management
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Pay: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
