We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to lead our automotive service department with enthusiasm and expertise. Responsibilities
- Manage the entire service department, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and support service technicians, ensuring high-quality repairs and adherence to safety standards.
- Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and more.
- Develop and implement upselling strategies to increase revenue while providing honest recommendations for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Handle auto estimating and service writing processes accurately to ensure clear communication with customers regarding costs and timelines.
- Maintain excellent customer relations by addressing concerns promptly, providing transparent explanations of repair procedures, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with financial policies during transactions.
- Stay current with automotive industry trends and technical advancements to continually improve service quality.
Experience
- Proven experience in dealership or automotive service management with a strong background in auto repair operations.
- Extensive mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics across various systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, alignments, oil changes, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, and brakes.
- Familiarity with automotive estimating software and auto service management tools.
- Demonstrated success in upselling services while maintaining integrity and customer trust.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts replacements.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
