About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead and support our Service Department operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for maintaining workflow efficiency, supporting technicians, ensuring quality repairs, and driving productivity in a fast-paced franchise dealership environment.
The ideal candidate is a master-level technician with strong leadership ability, diagnostic expertise, and the confidence to manage shop operations while maintaining high performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shop workflow and dispatch to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Provide technical support and guidance to technicians.
- Perform advanced diagnostics and assist with complex repair cases.
- Monitor repair quality and ensure adherence to manufacturer standards.
- Support training and development of service technicians.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and dealership policies.
- Collaborate closely with Service Advisors and Service Manager to improve communication and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure timely completion of repair orders and minimize comebacks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a franchise dealership.
- Prior leadership experience as a Shop Foreman or Team Lead preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- ASE certifications preferred (Master Certification a plus).
- Experience with dealership systems (CDK or similar DMS preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
