Automotive Dispatcher Job Requirements:

Must have at least 4+ years of professional experience in the Automotive industry. We are open to meeting you if you have experience as an Automotive Service Manager, an advanced Service Advisor or Technician! Tired of turning wrenches, we’ve love to hear from you! Hands-on experience with dispatch scheduling software and DMS required- Reynolds Preferred. Must have familiarity with automotive service workflows, technician skill levels, and parts management systems.

Automotive Dispatcher Job duties include:

● Scheduling & dispatching work orders:

○ Receive, assess, and allocate repair or service requests to technicians based on skill, availability, and priority.

● Monitoring progress & updates:

○ Track repair status, flag delays or issues, and proactively communicate timeline changes to service advisors or customers.

● Managing repair documentation:

○ Ensure clear documentation on each job order; complaint, diagnosis, repairs with accurate punch times.

● Coordinating with Parts & Warranty teams:

○ Track inventory, flag shortages or warranty claims, and communicate with parts/service managers.

● Maintaining customer relations:

○ Provide timely status updates, handle inquiries professionally, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
