May Automotive LLC is a locally owned auto repair and diesel repair shop in Kalamazoo, MI. Since 2018, we’ve built a reputation for solving tough diagnostic, drivability, and electrical problems that other shops refer to us. We pride ourselves on providing fast, transparent, and high-quality service for domestic and Asian imports.

We are looking for a full-time Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle symptoms
Schedule service appointments and coordinate loaner cars when needed
Recommend maintenance and repairs based on vehicle mileage, age, and history
Prepare accurate estimates for labor and parts
Communicate regularly with customers about repair progress and timelines
Verify invoices match completed work on repair orders
Review all repairs and charges with customers in clear, simple language
Build lasting relationships by providing exceptional customer service

Requirements

Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Consultant, Sales Consultior Assistant Service Manager preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proven track record of excellent customer service and customer satisfaction
Integrity, reliability, and a positive attitude
Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems
Passion for cars and helping people solve their vehicle concerns
