May Automotive LLC is a locally owned auto repair and diesel repair shop in Kalamazoo, MI. We are looking for a full-time Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle symptoms
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate loaner cars when needed
- Recommend maintenance and repairs based on vehicle mileage, age, and history
- Prepare accurate estimates for labor and parts
- Communicate regularly with customers about repair progress and timelines
- Verify invoices match completed work on repair orders
- Review all repairs and charges with customers in clear, simple language
- Build lasting relationships by providing exceptional customer service
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Consultant, Sales Consultior Assistant Service Manager preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of excellent customer service and customer satisfaction
- Integrity, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems
- Passion for cars and helping people solve their vehicle concerns
