Duties
- Engage with prospective customers through outbound calls, walk-ins, and online inquiries to generate new sales opportunities
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to recommend suitable vehicles that match customer preferences and budgets
- Demonstrate vehicle features, benefits, and specifications confidently to enhance customer understanding and interest
- Negotiate terms of sale including pricing, financing options, trade-ins, and add-on products to close deals effectively
- Manage the entire sales pipeline from initial contact to final paperwork, ensuring a seamless customer experience
- Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track leads, follow-ups, and sales activities accurately
- Upsell additional products such as warranties, service packages, and accessories to maximize revenue
- Maintain detailed inventory knowledge to assist customers in selecting the right vehicle and manage inventory control processes
- Support marketing efforts by participating in promotional events and outreach initiatives to attract new clients
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business
Requirements
- Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales environments; dealership experience is highly preferred
- Strong outside sales skills with the ability to generate leads through cold calling and B2B (business-to-business) interactions
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with persuasive communication abilities in multiple languages (multilingual/bilingual skills are a plus)
- Familiarity with CRM software, inventory management systems, and retail math principles for accurate calculations and record-keeping
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple clients simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional phone etiquette and public speaking skills for engaging presentations and client interactions
- Knowledge of automotive industry trends, high-end vehicle markets, and effective marketing strategies
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment requiring outbound sales efforts
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills to build rapport and trust with diverse clientele
