Modern Auto Sales has proudly served South Florida since 2007 and is looking for an experienced Sales Manager/General Manager to join our team.
We are an established dealership with a strong lender network, a steady flow of customers, and the tools needed to help you succeed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department
- Hire, train, and motivate sales staff
- Help salespeople work deals and get customers approved
- Structure and desk deals while maximizing profitability
- Manage inventory pricing and merchandising
- Make sure leads, appointments, and sold customers are followed up with properly
- Maintain a positive work environment and provide leadership to the team
- Deliver excellent customer service and help maintain the dealership's reputation
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of automotive sales management experience, preferably in a used car dealership
- Experience training and developing salespeople
- Strong knowledge of banks, credit unions, and subprime lenders
- Ability to desk deals and close customers
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to lead by example
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Must be available to work Sundays
Compensation
Competitive salary plus bonuses based on performance.
