Job Summary
Kissimmee Motorsports is seeking an experienced and driven Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department. This position is responsible for overseeing daily department operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting customer parts sales, and working closely with Sales and Service to help maximize value across the dealership.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who understands inventory control, customer service, team accountability, and dealership profitability. This is not just a counter role. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the department, build strong processes, support the team, and contribute to the success of the entire dealership.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the Parts Department
Lead and coach parts staff with clear expectations and accountability
Assist customers with parts purchases quickly, accurately, and professionally
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, receiving procedures, and process control
Manage ordering, stocking, returns, warranty parts, and special orders
Monitor department performance including gross profit, inventory turns, obsolescence, invoice count, and lines per invoice
Work closely with the Service Department to support technician efficiency and reduce delays
Work closely with the Sales Department to support accessory sales, add ons, and customer value
Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and professional standards
Build and enforce systems that protect dealership assets and improve department performance
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Parts Manager, Assistant Parts Manager, or similar leadership role in automotive, powersports, or dealership parts operations
Strong knowledge of inventory control, purchasing, and parts department processes
Experience with dealership management systems and parts lookup systems
Strong leadership and team development skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment while staying organized and detail oriented
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Service, and dealership leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Powersports or motorsports dealership experience
Experience managing OEM and aftermarket parts inventory
Understanding of KPI management including gross profit, inventory turns, invoice count, and average lines per invoice
