Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to lead the parts department at one of our dealerships across Massachusetts. The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, driving departmental profitability, and supporting both the service and sales teams with timely and accurate parts supply.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all parts department operations including counter staff, inventory management, and ordering processes
- Maintain accurate inventory levels to support service operations while controlling obsolescence and shrinkage
- Ensure efficient parts procurement, stocking, and distribution to service technicians and retail customers
- Monitor and improve department profitability, gross margins, and inventory turns
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with manufacturer representatives and vendors
- Lead, train, and develop parts department staff to maximize performance and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure efficient workflow and repair order completion
- Maintain proper parts pricing strategies and ensure warranty parts processes are handled correctly
- Implement best practices to streamline operations and improve department efficiency
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer programs, company policies, and safety standards
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of automotive parts management experience in a dealership environment
- Strong knowledge of OEM parts systems, inventory control, and dealership operations
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with dealership management systems preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type and years and experience within the industry, education, etc.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
