As the GM of Bonita Beach Mitsubishi, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing dealership operations and driving sales performance. This leadership position is essential for maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction while promoting a positive team environment that encourages growth and success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve monthly and annual forecasts
Hire, train, mentor, support and monitor the performance staff
Assist Sales Managers in working and closing deals
Drive used car acquisition, inventory turn and pricing strategies for maximum profitability
Be a hands-on leader, engaging with staff and customers daily to drive performance
Ensure exceptional customer experience and retention
Maintain strong relationships with manufacturer, vendors and lenders
Manage P&L, expense control and overall dealership profitability
Stay ahead of market trends, digital retailing and evolving customer expectations
Implement growth strategies that align with automotive group objectives by carefully assessing profit and loss while maintaining vehicle inventory that meets the needs of the local market
Learn and uphold all local, state and federal regulations impacting vehicle sales and the automotive industry as a whole
Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 2 years proven success as an Automotive General Manager in an automotive dealership
Experience in maintaining the profitability of the dealership while controlling expenses and sustaining customer satisfaction
Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors
A lead-from-the-front attitude - actively involved in daily operations
Ability to analyze date, drive performance and execute winning strategies
Exceptional negotiation, communication and leadership skills
Strong knowledge of F&I, fixed ops and digital marketing strategies
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus
