We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to oversee and streamline financial operations for our organization in Lubbock, Texas. This role is integral to ensuring accurate accounting, compliance with regulations, and effective management of receivables and collections. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, and system integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage dealership cash flow by supervising floor plans and reserve accounts, while monitoring overall financial performance.
- Process payroll and oversee health and retirement benefit administration.
- Collaborate with ownership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Monitor customer receivables, loan portfolios, charge-offs, and recoveries to ensure proper handling and reconciliation.
- Track delinquencies, repossessions, and write-offs, adhering to company policies.
- Ensure accurate data entry and system functionality across accounting, sales, and collections platforms.
- Generate financial, compliance, and portfolio reports using dealership software.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails while enforcing internal controls to safeguard assets.
- At least 1 year of experience in financial management and accounting.
- Proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations.
- Strong skills in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Ability to perform account reconciliations with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience in payroll administration and benefits management.
- Knowledge of compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Familiarity with accounting and dealership software systems.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
