Upstate Automotive Group is looking to hire a General Sales Manager for the newest location we’ve added to our Upstate brand here in Arcade. We’re looking for someone with general vehicle sales knowledge and experience to be an honest and hardworking manager and overseer.

A General Sales Manager is responsible for the communication and completion of sales with customers of their own, as well as being able to assist with customers of fellow sales associates to achieve the maximum potential profit, along with customer satisfaction and retention. From the initial discussion and decisions with customers, to presenting complete deliveries so they can sign on the dotted line, a General Sales Manager will be expected to be responsible, reliable, trustworthy, have good communication and problem solving skills centered in customer service to ensure a positive customer experience that reflects directly on Upstate Automotive Group as a whole. Along with these talents, as a manager, they will also need to be able to work well with fellow sales associates, being able to delegate tasks and solve problems they may have at a moment’s notice.

Automotive sales experience is required for this position, with managerial experience preferred. Being able to digitally log and update information on a computer, along with completing any potential physical paperwork in a timely manner is required. Training will be provided to ensure appropriate standards are communicated and understood, as well as training in our various computer programs used to log and document vehicle inventory and the sales process. A clean NYS driver’s license record is required to be eligible for this position, along with basic Highschool education.
