Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager – Marine Dealership

Compensation: $72,000 – $120,000+ annually (Base + Commission/Performance Bonuses)

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our team and help customers navigate financing and protection options while supporting the sales team in closing deals.
Position Overview
The F&I Manager plays a critical role in the sales process by arranging financing, presenting protection products, and ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in dealership finance (marine, automotive, RV, or powersports) and strong customer service and closing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Lending
- Arrange financing for boat, motor, and trailer purchases through multiple lending partners
- Submit and manage credit applications through lender portals
- Structure deals to maximize approvals while meeting customer needs
- Maintain relationships with banks and finance companies
Customer Consultation
- Present financing options, payment structures, and loan terms clearly to customers
- Offer and explain protection products such as extended warranties and GAP protection,
- Ensure customers fully understand their financing and protection options
Deal Processing & Compliance
- Prepare and finalize all finance documents accurately and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and lender regulations
- Maintain organized deal jackets and digital records
- Work closely with sales and accounting teams to finalize deals
Sales Team Support
- Collaborate with the sales team to structure deals and help close transactions
- Provide guidance on financing options during the sales process
- Help maintain strong CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in dealership F&I (marine, automotive, RV, or powersports preferred)
- Strong knowledge of retail financing and lender programs
- Experience with credit applications, deal structuring, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
Preferred Experience
- Marine industry experience
- Familiarity with lenders such as Sheffield Financial, Honda Financial, RecFi, or manufacturer finance programs
- Experience selling F&I protection products
