Overview
Join Rent a Wheel team as the Manager of our local Shop, where you will lead a high-energy, customer-focused operation dedicated to delivering top-tier tire and wheel services. In this role, you'll oversee daily shop activities, ensure exceptional service quality, and drive team performance to meet and exceed customer expectations. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining a safe, efficient, and profitable environment that emphasizes mechanical excellence and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the tire and wheel shop team, fostering a positive, motivated work environment.
- Oversee all shop operations, including tire installation, balancing, rotation, repair, and replacement services.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper use of hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment.
- Manage inventory levels of tires, wheels, and related automotive parts; coordinate procurement as needed.
- Maintain high standards of automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to support service technicians in complex repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services clearly, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Drive sales initiatives by promoting and marketing localy and on social media.
- Monitor shop performance metrics; implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
- Bilingual is a Plus.
Experience
- Proven dealership or automotive repair shop management experience with a strong background in Sales.
- Experience with hands-on expertise in vehicle maintenance tasks including alignments, tire service, and installations.
- Familiarity with automotive service standards and safety regulations; ability to train staff on proper procedures.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team of service technicians and support staff.
- Bilingual
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
