What You'll Do
Serve as the first point of contact for customers navigating the repair process — writing accurate, detailed estimates and guiding them from drop-off to delivery with professionalism and care. Communicating with insurance companies and other industry partners to resolve our customers' concerns efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of collision estimating experience
- Proficiency in CCC ONE and/or Mitchell estimating platforms
- I-CAR certification or other OEM credentials (preferred, not required)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset

What you'll do:
Summary: Responsible for identifying and documenting necessary body repair work for customers. Responsible for scheduling body work to be performed.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Schedules appointments with customer.
- Works with customer and Collision Center Technician to identify required repair work.
- Offers additional services and repairs to customers.
- Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to condition specified by customer.
- Enters itemized estimate on repair order and explains estimate to customer.
- Meets Collision Center standards for repair/order production.
- Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
- Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
- Participates in required training
- Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
- Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
- Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
- Complies with Company policies and procedures
- Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
- Other duties as assigned
Collision Center Hours:
Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
What You'll Need:

- Working knowledge of the body repair methods. Strong interpersonal and persuasive selling skills.
- Education: Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Field of Study (If Applicable): Automotive Technology, Autobody Refinish and Repair Technology, or Collision Refinish and Repair Technology
- Desired Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of Collision Estimating/Autobody Service Writing Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience utilizing the following: Collision & Autobody Software (CCC1, Mitchell, & ALLDATA)
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- Certifications: I-CAR and/or any applicable OEM certifications (Preferred)
Other skills and demands required to be successful in this role include:
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Ability and knowledge of Collision Center Management System and additional software programs to support operations.
Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, company
personnel and insurance adjusters.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. May be exposed to load noise, vibration, paint-dust, and other body repair shop conditions.
Duties are generally performed in the Collision Center area. Work includes inspection of customer vehicles and frequent movement around the body repair shop to convey information between customers and Collision Center Technicians. Frequently interacts with customers, Collision Center Manager, Collision Center Technicians, and Company personnel.
- Verbal and Writing Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations. Ability to understand and follow technical manuals.
