AUTOMOTIVE PAINT PREP TECHNICIAN - Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac located on the Barre-Montpelier Road in Central Vermont is seeking an Automotive Paint Prep Technician for our Collision Center. Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac is celebrating its 69th Year of being Central Vermont's #1 Chevy Dealer.
Applicant should have experience with sanding and buffing fresh paint. Looking for someone with a good work ethic and motivated to continue to learn within our field of work. Duties include masking, preparing the vehicle for paint, wet sanding, buffing and cleaning the vehicles when completed. A valid driver’s license is a must. Pay is based on experience.

Responsibilities:
Wash and buff vehicles. Minor touch-up paint. Vacuum interior and clean other panels as needed.
- Clean shop as needed.
- Check in and organize parts. Retrieve parts for the techs as needed.
- Assist painter masking vehicles for painting.
- Valid Drivers license.
- Shuttle customers as needed.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma
- Must have at least 1 years of experience as a Vehicle Washer and Detailer
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to instructions and information
- A fast learner with excellent oral communication skills
- Excellent Customer Centric Service Skills
- Ensures Customer Vehicles are kept clean and treated with respect
- Must be a helpful Team Player
- Maintain a neat, clean and orderly work station
