Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and sales will help customers understand their vehicle needs while providing a seamless service experience. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs in-person and over the phone.
- Clearly communicate repair recommendations, estimates, and service options using auto estimating and service writing skills.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, including oil changes, brake repairs, transmission work, suspension, alignment, tire services, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs.
- Upsell additional services by highlighting benefits such as vehicle maintenance, automotive diagnostics, and preventative care to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage detailed service records and documentation.
- Provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance schedules and mechanical issues based on mechanic experience and automotive repair knowledge.
- Foster strong customer relationships through attentive service writing, transparent communication, and follow-up to ensure complete satisfaction.
Experience
- Prior dealership experience or auto service management background is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in auto estimating, sales, or automotive diagnostics with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Hands-on mechanic or service technician experience with knowledge of transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, suspensions, alignments, tire services, shocks & struts, diesel engines, and other automotive repair specialties.
- Familiarity with automotive service processes including auto body repair and air brake systems is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
- Experience managing multiple customer interactions efficiently.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $73,370.48 per year
