Job Title: JR Dealer Liaison
Job Summary
The JR Dealership Representative serves as the primary point of contact between the collision repair facility and the dealership or referral location. This role supports the Estimator in processing repair files, communicating with customers, insurance companies, and vendors, and managing assigned accounts, billing, and reconciliation. Regular dealership rotation, including Saturdays, is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Interaction & Front Desk Support
- Answer and assist with incoming phone calls.
- Greet customers and gather necessary information.
- Explain all shop policies and procedures.
- Discuss payment policies and obtain required signatures:
- Tear-down authorization
- Repair authorization
- Shop policy acknowledgment
- Determine rental car needs and assist with arrangements.
- Confirm daily rental rates and coverage period.
- Keep customers informed of vehicle status throughout the repair process.
- Provide updates whenever there is a change to the original estimate.
- Document all customer and insurance communications in the system.
Vehicle Intake & Inspection
- Inspect vehicles and complete prior damage reports.
- Ensure all photos are uploaded into the system.
- Recommend additional repairs based on inspection findings.
- Advise customers to remove all valuable personal items from the vehicle.
- Explain:
- Extent of damage
- Repair process and methodology
- Estimated repair timeline
- Inform customers that final delivery dates depend on:
- Insurance approval
- Parts availability and estimated arrival times
- Encourage customers to contact their insurance company to help speed up the process.
Insurance & File Processing
- Contact insurance companies to:
- Notify them of vehicle location
- Confirm coverage
- Request vehicle inspection
- Assist the Estimator in prepping repair files.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Assist with filing according to shop procedures.
- Perform general clerical and customer service duties, including:
- Answering phones
- Checking in customers
- Collecting payments
- Maintaining receipts
- Provide direct support to the SR Dealership Liaison.
- Learn to decode and write basic estimates.
Dealership & Shop Support Tasks
- Rotate through assigned dealerships (including Saturdays).
- Convert sales opportunities from dealership drive-ins.
- Take photos of vehicle damage.
- Arrange vehicle towing when necessary.
- Move vehicles as required.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of customer service or related experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Automotive industry experience.
- Body shop experience.
- Bilingual.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
