What You'll Do
As Parts Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our parts department's performance. Your key responsibilities include:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing parts team hiring, training, and developing top talent
- Master inventory management: keep stock levels optimal, turnover high, and obsolescence low
- Set competitive pricing strategies that protect margins and drive revenue
- Champion customer service excellence for both internal (service/body shop) and external customers
- Develop and execute sales programs, promotions, and a robust wholesale parts program
- Streamline operations: shipping, receiving, storage, and daily department reporting
- Ensure full regulatory compliance and maintain a safe, organized workplace
- Manage department budgets, payroll, and financial documentation
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in parts management, preferably in automotive/dealership settings
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building motivated, productive teams
- Solid understanding of inventory control, purchasing, and parts pricing strategies
- Excellent customer service mindset, you treat every customer interaction as an opportunity
- Proficiency with DMS (Dealer Management Systems) and inventory software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and safety protocols
- Hyundai/Kia OEM knowledge a plus
