Unexcelled Detailing is a high-end mobile detailing company based in San Diego. We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented full-time Automotive Detailer to join our luxury mobile team.
Prior detailing or hands-on labor experience preferred. We are open to training the right candidate who demonstrates strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism.
This is a physically active, customer-facing role. You must bring strong professionalism, communication skills, and pride in doing high-quality work.
We offer hourly pay + upsell commission + tips + bonuses, and the opportunity to grow quickly as our company expands.
Pay & Earnings
- 20–$22/hour starting (based on experience)
- Upsell commission opportunities (earn extra when clients add services)
- Tips are frequent and can significantly increase earnings
- Performance bonuses and advancement opportunities available
The better your work ethic and client interaction, the faster your earnings increase.
Schedule Requirements
- Full-time commitment required
- 5–6 days per week
- Saturday availability is mandatory
- Must be available to work based on business demand
Responsibilities
- Perform interior, exterior detailing, and ceramic coatings to luxury standards
- Provide professional, white-glove customer service at every job
- Educate clients on services and assist with upsell opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stocking of company vans/tools
- Safely operate and move both client and company vehicles
- Follow detailing SOPs and safety protocols when using chemicals/equipment
- Communicate clearly with clients and represent the brand professionally
- Work independently after training with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Fluent English and strong communication skills (required)
- Reliability and consistency are critical for this role.
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute daily(required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable working outdoors in San Diego conditions
- Strong attention to detail and high personal standards
- Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and work hands-on all day
- Customer-facing or service experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn and improve quickly is mandatory
