About the Opportunity
We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Parts Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of a high-volume parts department.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong operational knowledge, inventory control experience, and the ability to drive profitability while supporting both service and sales departments.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the parts department
- Oversee inventory control, ordering, stocking, and obsolescence
- Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and vendors
- Ensure parts availability to support service efficiency
- Monitor and improve department profitability and performance
- Lead, train, and develop parts team members
- Implement processes to improve workflow and reduce loss
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer and company standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager in a dealership
- Strong understanding of inventory management, margins, and parts operations
- Experience with CDK or similar DMS required
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Franchise dealership experience required
Compensation & Benefits
- Earning Potential: $80,000 – $120,000+ annually (base + performance)
