Parts Manager
REQUIRED:
Required Skills & Experience
Qualified candidates should have experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Automotive parts experience at a dealership or retail parts store
- Service advisor experience
- Service manager or service department leadership experience
The ideal candidate will also possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
About the Role:
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the parts department
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and stock control
- Order parts and supplies from vendors and manufacturers
- Work closely with service technicians and advisors to ensure timely parts availability
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing when appropriate
- Ensure accurate receiving, stocking, and invoicing procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Qualifications
- Previous experience in parts management or automotive/service industry parts operations preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Inventory management experience
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership and team management experience
- Computer proficiency and familiarity with inventory or dealership management systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy
