The Mission: At 321 Drive, we are looking for a leader who leads from the front. We don't need a "clipboard manager" who hides in the office; we need a Player-Coach. You are the person who steps in to save the deal when a salesperson is struggling. You are the mentor who teaches a new hire how to overcome an objection. You are the "vibes manager" who keeps the sales floor positive and productive.
Who You Are:
- The Closer: You have a proven track record of selling 15+ cars a month. You love the thrill of the deal and aren't ready to hang up your sales hat completely.
- The People Person: You have high emotional intelligence. You know how to deliver constructive criticism to a salesperson without crushing their spirit, and you treat every customer with dignity regardless of their credit score.
- The Realist: You understand that "Management" means serving the team, not just bossing them around. You are willing to take a fresh "up," move inventory, or wash a car if that’s what the team needs to win that day.
What You’ll Do:
- Desk & Close: Support the General Manager by structuring deals and performing "T.O.s" (Turn Overs) to help associates close tougher customers.
- Train & Mentor: Run daily training segments. Your goal is to turn average salespeople into good ones, and good ones into great ones.
- Process Management: Ensure the CRM is updated, follow-ups are made, and the lot is merchandised correctly.
- Customer Experience: Handle escalated customer issues with patience and professionalism.
Requirements:
- 3+ Years of Sales experience (Automotive Subprime/BHPH is a plus).
- Ability to work Saturdays (with a scheduled weekday off).
- Proficiency in CRM/DMS tools.
- No Ego: You are a leader who works with your team, not above them.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Dental insurance
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
- Vision insurance
Application Question(s):
- This is a 'Player-Coach' role, meaning you will be expected to sell cars alongside the team while performing management duties. Are you looking for a role that keeps you active on the sales floor, or are you looking for a strictly administrative desk job?
- It is a busy Saturday, all salespeople are with customers, and a new client walks on the lot. The General Manager is busy desking a deal. What do you do?
- A customer falls in love with a vehicle they cannot afford, and they are getting upset that you won't approve them for it. How do you de-escalate the situation and switch them to a car that fits their budget?
- What part of Nashville do you live in?
Work Location: In person
