Gun Barrel Transmission is looking for a driven and experienced Service Manager / Service Writer to lead our service department and help manage our team of technicians.
We are a family-owned transmission repair shop established in 1984 with a strong reputation in the community. This position is perfect for someone who is motivated, organized, and ready to take ownership of the service desk.
- What You'll Do Write repair orders and communicate with customers.
- Manage workflow for up to 6 technicians Provide estimates and explain repairs clearly.
- Coordinate diagnostics and repair timelines.
- Keep the shop schedule organized and productive. Ensure excellent customer service from start to finish
What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years experience as a Service Writer Strong leadership and communication skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Self-driven with the ability to manage a busy shop environment Automotive repair knowledge required
Compensation -100% Commission-Based Pay Structure Realistic earning potential $60,000-$80,000+ per year
