Braden CDJR is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Director to lead and grow a high-volume, fast-paced service department.
This is not an entry-level management position. We are looking for a proven leader with OEM dealership experience who understands how to manage workflow, drive performance, lead employees, and operate an efficient, profitable service department at a high level.
CDJR experience is a major plus.
The right candidate must be able to handle a very busy shop environment while maintaining strong customer satisfaction, technician productivity, and operational efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
- Automotive Service Director or Fixed Operations leadership experience REQUIRED
- OEM dealership experience REQUIRED
- CDJR experience is a major plus
- Strong understanding of dealership workflow and shop efficiency
- Experience managing high-volume service operations
- Ability to lead advisors, technicians, warranty administrators, and parts personnel
- Strong knowledge of KPI management, technician productivity, ELR, gross profit, and fixed absorption
- Ability to create structure, accountability, and consistent processes
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the service department
- Manage workflow to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Monitor technician productivity, proficiency, and shop capacity
- Drive service sales, gross profit, and fixed operations performance
- Ensure proper dispatching and repair order management
- Maintain OEM standards and compliance
- Develop and lead service advisors and department staff
- Work closely with parts and management teams to improve overall operations
- Build a strong culture focused on accountability and performance
