As we continue to grow, we are seeking a results-driven General Manager (GM) to lead our dealership to new heights in performance, customer service, and profitability.
Position Summary
The General Manager will oversee all dealership operations, including sales, finance, service, parts, and customer relations. This individual will be responsible for driving profitability, maintaining operational efficiency, managing staff performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage daily operations across all dealership departments
- Set and achieve financial goals including sales volume, gross profit, and expense control
- Lead, coach, and motivate department managers and staff to reach performance objectives
- Develop and implement effective marketing and advertising strategies
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction and retention
- Ensure compliance with all OEM, legal, and regulatory requirements
- Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Foster a positive and ethical work environment that supports employee engagement
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in automotive dealership management
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Deep knowledge of domestic automotive brands and dealership operations
- Proficient in dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Automotive Management, or related field preferred
