The BDC Customer Care Specialist is responsible for handling incoming phone calls and internet inquiries, scheduling appointments, generating sales opportunities, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role serves as the first point of contact for many dealership customers and plays a key role in supporting the sales department.

Respond to incoming phone calls, internet leads, and customer inquiries

Schedule showroom appointments for the sales team

Deliver a professional and high-quality customer experience

Identify customer vehicle needs and sales opportunities

Maintain accurate CRM notes and customer records

Work closely with the BDC Manager and sales staff to maximize lead conversion

Complete outbound follow-up calls and appointment confirmations

Assist with internet lead management and phone sales prospecting

Conduct dealership and sales department tours

Stay current on vehicle inventory, features, incentives, and promotions

Attend required sales meetings and training sessions

High school diploma or GED required

Previous automotive BDC, customer service, call center, or sales experience preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment

Strong organizational and follow-up abilities

Basic computer and CRM skills preferred

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Base hourly pay range is $16–$18 per hour. Additional compensation includes performance-based bonuses and incentive opportunities with no fixed upper limit.
