We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Collision General Manager / Body Shop GM to lead and oversee all operations within our collision repair facility. Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the collision repair shop, ensuring timely and high-quality vehicle repairs.
- Manage and motivate a team of auto body technicians, mechanics, estimators, and support staff to meet productivity goals.
- Oversee all aspects of vehicle repair processes, including auto body repair, auto painting, auto glass replacement, detailing, and auto restoration projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of power tools, hand tools, and heavy lifting techniques to maintain a safe working environment.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with insurance companies, vendors, and customers to facilitate smooth claims processing and project completion.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts inventory, labor hours, and quality control inspections to ensure transparency and accountability.
Experience
- Proven dealership or automotive repair shop management experience with a track record of leading successful collision or body shop teams.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment.
- Strong background in auto body repair techniques including auto painting, auto glass installation, detailing, and auto restoration.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and automotive repair processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Knowledge of industry safety protocols and best practices for handling auto parts and equipment.
