Are you an elite automotive leader who can command the sales desk and dominate the F&I box? We are looking for a high-energy, dual-hat General Sales Manager (GSM) / F&I Director for a single, high-stakes position at our Fort Wayne dealership. If you are tired of losing deals because you don't have the cars, or because your inventory is priced wrong for the market, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
We have figured out the inventory puzzle. Our lot is primed with the right vehicle mix, aggressive market pricing, and a steady pipeline that ensures you are never left fighting for scraps. We provide the inventory engine; we just need the driver to maximize the volume and spin the back-end profit.
What We Offer (The "Double-Growth" Pay Plan)
Our compensation structure is transparent, uncapped, and aggressively rewards builders who can push our current baseline to a 700+/year pace:
- The Volume & Profit Matrix: Earn scaling commission percentages on both front and back-end gross profit. Hit a higher volume tier, and your increased percentage applies retroactively back to dollar one for the month.
Key Responsibilities
- Desk & Close: Actively desk deals, structure financing, and step in to close tough turns to maximize volume and front-end margin.
- Drive Back-End Revenue: Personally run or oversee the F&I process, actively pitching vehicle service contracts, GAP, and ancillary products to consistently elevate the store's back-end average.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team to eliminate complacency, hold gross, and capitalize on our optimal inventory.
- Protect the Gross: Maintain a hard line on vehicle pricing.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of automotive dealership management experience (GSM, Sales Manager, or F&I Director required).
- Strong capability to handle both front-end sales desk operations and back-end F&I product presentation.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding volume targets and F&I penetration metrics.
- Deep understanding of prime and subprime deal structuring and lender relationships.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass routine background/pre-employment screening.
