Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Parts Manager, where you'll lead the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of automotive parts to ensure seamless operations across our dealership or service center. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee supply chain processes, manage supplier relationships, and optimize parts availability to support automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance activities. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations for automotive parts, including sourcing, procurement, and inventory control.
- Oversee warehouse management activities such as shipping & receiving, storage optimization, and equipment repair.
- Develop and maintain relationships with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) suppliers and negotiate pricing to secure the best terms.
- Utilize ERP systems and order management systems to track inventory levels, process purchase orders, and monitor demand planning.
- Implement and maintain inventory management practices using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to ensure accurate data entry and inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate logistics for shipping & receiving, ensuring timely delivery of parts to support automotive service and repair operations.
- Lead procurement management efforts by sourcing quality parts, managing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with dealership standards.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge and automotive diagnostics expertise to assess parts suitability and troubleshoot issues related to auto body repair or equipment repair.
- Support warehouse experience by optimizing storage layouts and implementing safety protocols for forklift operation and equipment handling.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in inventory control, demand planning, and pricing strategies to maximize operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain management within the automotive industry or dealership environment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, auto body repair processes, OEM parts sourcing, and automotive service operations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, CMMS tools, order management systems, and AS400 platform is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in procurement management, negotiation skills, and vendor relationship building.
- Experience with warehouse management including shipping & receiving procedures, inventory management software, and forklift operation certification preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of automotive repair equipment and HVAC systems is a plus.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for inventory control and demand planning accuracy.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
