Automotive Service Manager Responsibilities:
- Hiring, training, and managing employees.
- Focusing on customer retention by building relationships.
- Managing and controlling costs.
- Keeping track of service and inventory records
- Forecasting goals and objectives for the department.
- Maintaining relations with the General Manager and factory representatives.
- Overseeing post-repair services (vehicle delivery, test driving, etc.)
- Oversee the daily operations of the automotive service department
- Manage and lead a team of service technicians and advisors
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
- Schedule and assign work to technicians based on skill level and availability
- Monitor workflow and prioritize jobs to meet deadlines
Automotive Service Manager Qualifications:
- 3+ years of service management experience is a must.
- Foreign and Domestic vehicle experience is strongly preferred.
- Communication and leadership skills.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
