An established, financially strong automotive dealer group is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead and grow our fixed operations department.
We are looking for a leader—not just a manager. Someone who develops people, drives profitability, creates an exceptional customer experience, and builds a positive culture.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop service advisors, technicians, dispatch, warranty and support staff
- Drive customer satisfaction and retention
- Increase labor sales, effective labor rate and technician productivity
- Improve technician efficiency and proficiency
- Monitor repair order quality and daily operating metrics
- Control expenses while maximizing departmental profitability
- Maintain warranty and manufacturer compliance
- Work closely with Parts, Sales and Executive Management
- Recruit, train and retain top talent
- Create a culture built on accountability, integrity and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 5+ years automotive service management experience
- NEW FRANCHISE experience preferred but not required
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Proven history of increasing gross profit and customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with dealership management systems
- Stable employment history
- Passion for developing people
