Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Parts Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for equipment parts and accessories, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient parts management. Your expertise will help customers find the right parts for their equipment needs, support equipment maintenance and repair processes, and contribute to the overall success of our dealership’s parts department. Duties
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts and accessories, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts stock levels using inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Process sales transactions accurately through POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit, and other payment methods with professionalism
- Collaborate with service technicians and sales teams to fulfill parts orders efficiently and accurately
- Maintain detailed records of parts inventory, order fulfillment, and stock movements using Microsoft Office tools like Excel and specialized software.
- Provide technical support by applying equipment diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting knowledge to assist customers or technicians
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, product knowledge sharing, and personalized service
- Support marketing efforts by promoting parts specials, and accessories to increase sales opportunities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in diagnostics, maintenance, or equipment repair within a dealership or retail environment
- Strong knowledge of parts management, inventory control, and retail math principles
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages are highly desirable; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with CMMS software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), POS systems, and inventory management tools
- Demonstrated sales management experience with a focus on customer relationship building and negotiation skills
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with equipment systems understanding to assist with client inquiries effectively
- Previous experience in retail sales of parts and accessories is preferred; dealership experience is highly valued
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to handle cashiering duties including cash handling, phone etiquette, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
