Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Manage and train service technicians to provide top-notch automotive repair and maintenance services.
Develop and implement strategies for upselling services and products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
Ensure accurate estimating for repairs and services, maintaining full transparency with customers.
Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Maintain detailed records of service transactions, including cash handling procedures.
Collaborate with sales teams to promote automobile sales alongside service offerings.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, trends, and best practices in vehicle maintenance.

Skills

Proven experience in dealership settings and auto service management.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, alignment, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repair.
Proficient in automotive diagnostics and service writing.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to effectively upsell services while maintaining customer loyalty and trust.
Experience in cash handling and financial transactions within an automotive context.
