Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to a minimum of five years’ experience as a journey-level mechanic
Dealership certification required; Ford certification preferred
Excellent diagnostic skills
PA state inspection and emission licenses required
ASE Master Automobile Technician certification preferred
Working knowledge of all types of motor vehicles to be able to diagnose and repair equipment
Use and care of required tools and equipment; Must provide own tools and rollaway box
Lead/supervisory experience preferred
Graduation from an accredited technical school, apprentice program, or verified military schooling program teaching the mechanic trade
Must be able to perform all physical requirements of position
Basic computer skills required; Knowledge of fleet management system preferred
Demonstrated ability to perform complete operational checks
Experience in the troubleshooting and repair of engine assemblies, clutch assemblies, brakes, hydraulic systems, drive trains, transmissions, and electrical system
Outstanding technical knowledge, excellent people skills and focus on superior customer service.
Additional training in Hazardous Waste Accumulation, Pollution Prevention and other training related to the position may be required
Team player; ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with others
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English for a working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings, as per contract requirement
High school diploma or equivalent
