About the Opportunity
We are helping our client, a well-established Chinese automotive parts manufacturer specializing in brake pads and friction products, recruit an experienced Automotive Aftermarket Sales Manager to support the continued expansion of its U.S. business.The company has large-scale manufacturing operations in China and Cambodia, a broad global aftermarket business, and an existing U.S. office and local team in Texas. This is a remote position focused on developing U.S. distributor, national account, and aftermarket customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow U.S. automotive aftermarket sales, with a focus on brake pads and friction products.
Build and manage relationships with distributors, national accounts, retailers, buying groups, and other aftermarket customers.
Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term customer partnerships.Manage key accounts, pricing discussions, sales forecasting, and business development activities.
Collaborate with the U.S. team and overseas manufacturing/product teams to support customer needs.
Attend customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows as needed.
Qualifications
2+ years of sales experience in the U.S. automotive aftermarket industry preferred.
Existing relationships with U.S. distributors, retailers, national accounts, or aftermarket customers strongly preferred.
Experience with brake pads, friction products, braking systems, undercar products, or related automotive parts is highly preferred.
Strong B2B sales, account management, negotiation, and business development skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary starting at $100,000+, flexible based on experience, industry relationships, and track record.
Additional/variable compensation may be available based on experience and performance.
