Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective customers through outbound sales efforts, including cold calling and outreach to generate new leads and expand the sales pipeline.
- Demonstrate vehicles to customers, highlighting features and benefits to match their needs and preferences.
- Negotiate deals effectively, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that satisfy both the customer and dealership objectives.
- Manage inventory control and assist in inventory management to ensure availability aligns with customer demand.
- Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track customer interactions, follow up on leads, and maintain organized sales records.
- Upsell additional products or services such as warranties, accessories, or financing options to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly via phone or in person, maintaining professional communication etiquette at all times.
- Collaborate with the sales support team and marketing department to develop strategies that attract high-end clients and increase retail sales.
- Participate in public speaking engagements or promotional events to promote dealership offerings and strengthen community presence.
Experience
- Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales environments; dealership experience is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Experience with B2B (business-to-business) sales is a plus, especially when dealing with fleet or corporate clients.
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging a diverse customer base; bilingual skills are highly valued.
- Familiarity with CRM software, inventory management systems, and retail math for accurate calculations and organizational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening, to build rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability in outbound sales strategies such as cold calling and lead generation to grow the customer base.
- Organizational skills necessary for managing multiple client interactions simultaneously while maintaining detailed records.
