We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of automotive service quality. Main Responsibilities:

Lead the daily dispatch of ROs for maximum productivity for technicians and the shop.
Assist in the lane to maximize Customer Satisfaction through personal involvement and direct interaction with customers and service advisors.

Other Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the service department, including workflow management.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and automotive industry regulations.
Develop and implement strategies to increase departmental efficiency and profitability.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective internal and external communication and problem resolution.
Collaborate with the Sales Department for timely management of internal Repair Orders for used car inspections and other internal ROs.
Manage and control costs effectively.
Train and mentor technicians uphold quality standards.
Train and mentor service advisors to provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or similar role within a dealership environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Knowledge of dealership management software is preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Automotive technical background is advantageous but not mandatory.
