Duties
- Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed monthly sales goals through effective coaching and performance management
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans targeting B2B (business-to-business) and retail customers to expand market share
- Manage the entire sales pipeline, from prospecting new clients via outbound sales activities to closing high-end vehicle deals
- Conduct negotiations with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while upselling additional products and services
- Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track leads, follow-ups, and customer interactions for optimal sales support
- Oversee inventory management and inventory control processes to ensure availability of high-demand vehicles and accessories
- Engage in public speaking and community outreach efforts to promote dealership offerings and enhance brand visibility
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette, communication skills, and customer service standards during all interactions
- Support marketing initiatives by participating in promotional events, cold calling campaigns, and retail math analysis to maximize sales opportunities
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, inventory procedures, and organizational standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automobile sales or dealership management with a strong track record of achieving high-end sales targets
- Extensive knowledge of automotive products, inventory management, retail math, and inventory control practices
- Exceptional negotiation skills combined with B2B (business-to-business) and retail sales expertise
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse customer bases
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM software systems and familiarity with outbound sales techniques including cold calling and upselling strategies
- Excellent communication skills—public speaking experience is a plus—alongside phone etiquette that fosters trust and rapport with clients
- Background in marketing, customer service, or retail math enhances effectiveness in this role
- Valid dealership experience preferred; familiarity with automotive industry standards is essential
