Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Car Salesperson to join our reputable dealership team. The ideal candidate will excel in outside sales, possess strong negotiation skills, and have experience in B2B and retail automobile sales. This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively. Multilingual abilities and dealership experience are highly valued to better serve our diverse clientele. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for engaging potential customers, upselling high-end vehicles, and supporting overall sales management efforts.
Duties
- Engage in outside sales activities to attract new customers and expand the dealership’s client base
- Conduct cold calling and follow-up calls to generate leads and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Present and demonstrate vehicles to prospective buyers, highlighting features and benefits
- Negotiate terms and close deals efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, manage inventory, and monitor sales progress
- Upsell additional products or services such as warranties or accessories to maximize revenue
- Support inventory management and control processes to ensure vehicle availability aligns with customer demand
- Assist in marketing efforts by participating in promotional events and public speaking engagements
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process, ensuring positive experiences that foster repeat business
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for high-end sales growth and improve overall dealership performance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automobile sales, dealership operations, or retail sales preferred
- Strong outside sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and phone etiquette skills
- Proficiency with CRM software and inventory management systems
- Ability to conduct effective B2B and outbound sales activities including cold calling
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously
- Knowledge of automotive products, inventory control, retail math, and marketing strategies
- Exceptional customer service orientation with professional public speaking abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales certifications are a plus
