Automotive Service Advisor
Full-Time | Direct Hire
Location: Elmhurst, IL
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per year
Overview:
Seeking an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join a growing automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and prior experience managing service operations while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive service experience.
- Act as the liaison between customers and technicians, clearly explaining repairs and services.
- Keep customers updated on repair status and service recommendations.
- Prepare and process repair orders accurately, including costs and service details.
- Verify warranties and service contracts.
- Recommend additional maintenance or repairs when needed.
- Coordinate effectively with technicians to ensure efficient service completion.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Experience with Reynolds systems is a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per hour

Experience:
- Automotive Service Advisor: 5 years (Required)
- Automotive Service Writer: 2 years (Required)
- Working in a dealership service department: 3 years (Required)
- Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, or similar software: 1 year (Required)
- Explaining repair recommendations: 1 year (Required)
- Explaining service costs to customers: 1 year (Required)
