Overview
Waldoch Crafts is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales efforts within the automotive upfitting industry. This role is responsible for driving revenue, managing and developing a high-performing sales team, strengthening customer relationships, and aligning sales strategies with production and operational capabilities. The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales leader with strong automotive industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Waldoch Crafts is a proud partner of Ford, GM and RAM. Our ideal candidate will understand how to process orders from these factories.
Duties
- Lead, manage, and support the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets.
- Effective management of our 8-10 outside sales team members.
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with dealers, fleet customers, and commercial accounts.
- Serve as a key point of contact for major or strategic customer accounts.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to ensure accurate quoting, lead times, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
- Support pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and proposal development.
- Coach, train, and mentor sales staff to improve performance and product knowledge.
- Track sales metrics and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
- Use of HubSpot for CRM and NetSuite for ERP.
- Management of forecasting and inventory of chassis.
- Participate in trade shows, customer visits, and industry events as needed.
- Promote a customer-focused, team-oriented sales culture.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in a sales leadership or sales management role.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive, upfitting, manufacturing, or related sales environments preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to analyze sales data, forecasts, and market trends to drive results.
- Experience managing CRM systems and sales reporting tools preferred.
- Understanding of vehicle upfitting, fleet sales, or custom automotive products is a plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Experience:
- Sales leadership or sales management experience: 3 years (Preferred)
Work Location: In person with travel as needed
Pay: $75,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
