Service Director, High Volume Toyota Dealership
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Service Director to lead our high-volume service department. This role is responsible for overseeing all fixed operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving profitability, and maintaining compliance with Toyota standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all service department operations, including advisors, technicians, and support staff
- Drive customer satisfaction and retention (CSI scores) in line with Toyota benchmarks
- Monitor and improve service department KPIs (RO count, labor sales, effective labor rate, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with Toyota Motor Corporation policies, warranty procedures, and training programs
- Develop and implement strategies to increase service revenue and efficiency
- Hire, train, and mentor service team members
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized service environment
- Collaborate with parts and sales departments to optimize dealership performance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of automotive service management experience (Toyota or import brand preferred)
- Proven track record of increasing service department profitability
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Deep understanding of dealership operations and fixed ops performance metrics
- Familiarity with Toyota systems (e.g., TIS, warranty processes) is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Pay: $200,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year
