Automotive Sales Responsibilities (Retail + Internet Sales)
- Greet and assist customers in selecting the right new or pre-owned vehicle
- Handle internet leads, phone inquiries, and showroom traffic
- Present vehicle features, pricing, and financing options
- Conduct test drives and product demonstrations
- Maintain consistent CRM follow-up (calls, texts, email, video)
- Build repeat and referral business
- Negotiate and close automotive sales deals
- Maintain strong CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals (17+ units/month)
Key Performance Expectations
- Meet or exceed monthly car sales quotas
- Convert internet leads into appointments and sales
- Maintain high closing ratios and gross profit
- Generate positive online reviews and customer satisfaction
- Consistent follow-up and pipeline management
Automotive Sales Qualifications
- 2+ years sales experience (automotive sales preferred)
- 1+ year dealership experience (strongly preferred)
- Proven success in commission-based sales environments
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-driven mindset
- Professional appearance and customer-first attitude
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
