Office Coordinator – Scheduling & Customer Service — Star Glass Inc. | Jefferson Parish, LA
Who We Are
Star Glass Inc. is a residential, commercial, and auto glass company based in Jefferson Parish, and we're growing fast. We compete on speed and customer experience — and one of the ways we do that is through a picture quoting process that lets us quote jobs off photos texted to us by the customer, instead of rolling a truck just to take measurements. It saves our customers time and it helps us move faster than anyone else in the market.
We're not the biggest glass company in Louisiana. But we're one of the best to work with — and we're building something here. That matters.
The Role
This is one of the most important seats in our office.
Once a job is sold, you're the person who makes sure it actually happens — that the materials are coming in on time, that the schedule reflects reality, and that the customer knows exactly what's going on and when. You're the bridge between our pricing team, our installers in the field, and the customer at home waiting for us to show up. When that bridge works, everything moves. When it doesn't, the whole business feels it.
You'll own the day-to-day scheduling and customer communication for our residential division, working closely with our pricing manager, our field crews, and the rest of the office team. This is a fast-paced seat with a lot of moving parts — and the right person thrives on exactly that.
Day to day, that looks like this:
- Reviewing vendor order acknowledgements to confirm the right materials are coming on the right dates
- Entering delivery dates into our job management software (SmartBuilder)
- Building out the initial install schedule for our residential crews
- Calling customers to confirm appointments and answer questions before install day
- Communicating with our field team about job-day details, access, and any last-minute changes
- Keeping the schedule clean as things shift — because things always shift
- Catching the small details before they turn into big problems
- Representing Star Glass the way we want to be represented — warm, professional, and easy to deal with
Who We're Looking For
You do not need to know anything about glass. We will teach you everything you need to know about our products and our process.
What we can't teach is how to stay calm and organized when ten things are moving at once. That part has to be you.
The right person for this role:
- Is genuinely organized — calendars, dates, materials, addresses, names — none of it falls through the cracks
- Has a warm, clear phone voice and makes customers feel taken care of
- Can hold a lot of moving pieces in their head without losing the thread
- Picks up new software quickly and doesn't get frustrated learning new systems
- Doesn't get rattled when the schedule changes at the last minute (because it will)
- Communicates clearly with everyone — customers, vendors, installers, the office
- Wants to be part of a team that's actually going somewhere
- Shows up, does the job right, and takes pride in it
If you've worked in scheduling, dispatch, project coordination, customer service, or any role where managing people and information at the same time was the job — we want to hear from you. Construction or home services experience is a plus, but personality and work ethic matter more.
What We Offer
- A full-time position with real stability at a growing company
- Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm — no nights, no weekends
- $18 to $20 per hour depending on experience
- 401(k) with company matching
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
- A team that's invested in doing things the right way
- Room to grow as Star Glass grows — this is a company with momentum

Send us a resume and a short note — just a few sentences — about why this role sounds like the right fit for you. We're not looking for a cover letter that sounds like everyone else's. Just tell us who you are and why you're the person we should talk to.
