Duties

Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
Provide accurate auto estimates and explain repair procedures clearly to customers
Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire service, brake repair, alignments, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, and auto body repairs to maximize customer value
Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed service writing documentation
Maintain thorough knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures to advise customers effectively
Promote dealership services by educating customers on vehicle maintenance schedules and recommended repairs

Qualifications

Proven dealership experience or auto service management background with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
Strong sales aptitude with experience in upselling and auto estimating techniques
Knowledge of service technician workflows and service writing procedures
Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in automobile sales or auto body repair is highly desirable
