We represent a diverse inventory, including farm tractors, construction machinery, skid steers, excavators, zero-turn mowers, UTVs, and implements. Selling over 600 new and used machines annually to local, regional, and national customers, we pride ourselves on a "solutions-based" approach. The Role
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in supply chain management, inventory control, and customer service. As a critical link in our daily operations, you will manage everything from procurement to delivery, ensuring our service department and customers have the high-quality parts they need, exactly when they need them.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory & Supply Chain: Oversee the end-to-end process of procurement, logistics, and inventory control.
- Supplier Relations: Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing to maintain competitive costs and high availability.
- Systems Management: Utilize Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and order management tools to track inventory and streamline workflows.
- Demand Planning: Implement stock optimization strategies based on seasonal sales forecasts and historical data.
- Warehouse Oversight: Supervise all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and parts organization.
- Service Department Collaboration: Work closely with our Service Team to ensure parts are staged and supplied efficiently for equipment repairs.
- Data Integrity: Maintain precise records for inventory control, core management, and customer interactions.
- Customer Support: Provide technical expertise and exceptional service for all parts inquiries.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven background in supply chain, procurement, or automotive/equipment parts management.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with tractor and construction equipment parts and sourcing.
- Logistics Skills: Proficient in warehouse management practices, including LTL shipping and receiving.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using inventory management software (DMS/ERP systems) and Microsoft Office.
- Mechanical Aptitude: A solid understanding of repair processes and machine components.
- Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Previous dealership experience is highly preferred.
- Detail: Meticulous approach to bin locations, cycle counting, and core management.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage a fast-paced parts counter while supporting a high-volume service department.
