Rusty Wallis Honda is looking for motivated, energetic, and customer-focused individuals to join our Business Development Center (BDC) Team as a Sales & Service Scheduler.
This position combines automotive sales appointment scheduling and service scheduling responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, multitasking, and working in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Responsibilities
Sales Scheduling
- Respond to incoming internet leads, phone calls, chats, and text messages
- Schedule and confirm sales appointments
- Follow up with unsold customers and missed opportunities
- Assist customers with vehicle availability, pricing, and trade-in inquiries
- Work directly with the sales team and managers to maximize appointment show rates
Service Scheduling
- Schedule service appointments for maintenance and repair needs
- Assist customers with recall inquiries and service recommendations
- Follow up with customers due for service
- Help coordinate transportation, loaners, and appointment confirmations
- Maintain accurate customer information within the CRM and service systems
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable handling inbound and outbound calls
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
- Basic computer and CRM knowledge preferred
- Automotive dealership, BDC, call center, or customer service experience is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
