Overview
We are seeking experienced Roof Service Journeyman to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in roofing and construction, demonstrating expertise in various repair techniques and materials. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety on the job site, ensuring that all repairs meet industry standards. This candidate must be able to drive and have a clean MVR.
Responsibilities
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best repair methods.
- Perform roof repairs using a variety of materials, including shingles, metal, tile, tpo, and epdm.
- Execute caulking and sealing to prevent leaks and ensure durability.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites for comprehensive project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair needs and project timelines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while working at heights or on construction sites.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in roof repair or related construction fields.
- Strong skills in different roof system installation are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with caulking techniques and materials used in roofing applications.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites.
- Strong communication skills
