Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for high-end sales, B2B relationships, and exceptional customer engagement. The ideal candidate will excel in managing sales pipelines, negotiating deals, and inspiring a team to achieve outstanding results across retail and outside sales channels.
Duties
- Lead and manage the entire sales department, setting clear goals and motivating the team to exceed targets
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue from new and existing clients
- Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent lead generation through cold calling, outbound sales, and marketing efforts
- Cultivate strong B2B relationships by negotiating deals and upselling premium products and services
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, manage inventory control, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement
- Conduct regular training sessions on sales techniques, product knowledge, public speaking, and customer service excellence
- Monitor dealership inventory levels, retail math, and inventory management to align with sales objectives
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive or high-end retail sales management with a strong background in outside sales and B2B environments
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong organizational skills with proficiency in CRM software, inventory management, and retail math
- Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette, public speaking, and customer service expertise
- Experience in dealership operations such as inventory control, automotive sales processes, and marketing strategies
- Ability to lead by example in outbound calling, upselling techniques, and developing a high-performing team
